Fake Website Watch & Takedown

Scammers don't just copy big banks. They copy community credit unions, small shops and service businesses too: a fake login page with your logo, a web address one letter off from yours, a fake checkout or invoice page. Your customers can't always tell the difference, and they lose money thinking they're dealing with you.
I watch for fakes that use your name and work to get them taken down. It's the same work I already do every day: more than 8,000 scam websites I've reported have gone offline.

What I Watch For
Look-alike web addresses
New web addresses that copy your name with a swapped letter, an extra word, or a different ending like .net or .co.
Copies of your website
Fake versions of your login, checkout or contact pages showing up on other sites.
Your name in scam reports
I check the public scam reports I already monitor for anything that uses your business name.
What You Get
A watch on your name
I keep looking for new fakes that use your name, your web address or your logo.
A person checks every hit
Nothing gets reported on an automatic match. I look at every one myself first, so a real website never gets reported by mistake.
Takedown and follow-up
I report confirmed fakes to the company hosting them, the company that registered the web address, and the services that put warnings in web browsers. Then I follow up and push until they're offline.
Straight answers
You get an email when I confirm a fake, and a short monthly report: what I found, what I reported, and what's offline.
How It Works
1. A Short Call
You tell me your web addresses, your logo, and the pages scammers would copy, like your login or checkout page.
2. A Signed Letter
A one-page letter that lets me report fakes on your behalf. Hosting companies act faster when the business itself is behind the report.
3. The Watch Starts
I start with a check for fakes that already exist, then keep watching and reporting.
Why Work With Me
I'm not a sales team reselling someone else's dashboard. I find, check and report these sites myself, and I publish my results. See my live takedown numbers ›
One person you can call. If a fake shows up, you deal with me directly, not a ticket number. I'm based in Hartford, Wisconsin, and all of this work is done remotely, so it doesn't matter where your business is.
I also build websites and set up business email, so I know how web addresses, hosting and email fit together.
Questions About Fake Website Takedowns
What does it cost?
Plans are monthly, and a one-time check and single takedowns are available too. See current prices ›
Can you guarantee a fake site comes down?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. The hosting company and the registrar make the final call. What I promise is the work: a checked report, follow-ups, escalation, and an honest account of what happened.
How fast will I hear from you?
I email you when I confirm a fake, during my business hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 8pm, Sunday 11am to 7pm, Central time. This isn't a round-the-clock service.
Do you report anything automatically?
No. I check every one myself before anything is reported.
What about trademark disputes or going after the scammer legally?
That's work for an attorney. I can hand you the evidence I've collected to pass along.
Who is this for?
Businesses that take payments or logins online, credit unions and banks, and nonprofits that take donations. You don't need to be near Hartford: everything is done remotely, by phone and email.
