This privacy policy describes how the RSS_Oauth_1 application ("the App"), operated by Rising Sun Solutions, handles data obtained through Google and YouTube APIs.
Who uses the App
The App is a private security tool used only by its operator. It is not offered to the public, and no one other than the operator signs in to it.
What the App accesses
With the operator's permission, granted through Google's sign-in screen, the App uses the YouTube Data API scope "youtube.force-ssl" on the operator's own YouTube account. It uses that access for one purpose: to submit abuse reports to YouTube about videos that promote phishing, malware, or fraud, and to read the list of report categories YouTube accepts.
What the App stores
The App stores the OAuth access token and refresh token that Google issues for the operator's account, on a private server controlled by the operator. It also keeps its own record of which videos it has reported and when. It does not collect, store, or process personal data about any other person.
What the App does not do
The App does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with anyone. It does not use Google user data for advertising, and it does not transfer that data to third parties except to Google and YouTube themselves, as needed to submit reports.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
YouTube and Google terms
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the YouTube
Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. On revocation, the App can no longer act on the account, and the stored tokens stop working.
Data deletion
To request deletion of stored tokens or report records, contact the address below. Stored tokens are deleted within 7 days of a request.
